Randy---
Hi kiddo.  I know you're watching me right now, and I'm glad for that, but I wanted to talk to ya a little bit.
Please comfort Sam.  She needs you right now sweetie.  She loves you so much.  I'm so glad that you two got married when you did.
Please also be with your parents and Chere.  Make sure that they know just how much you love them.  Give them signs to let you know that you are still there, that your spirit is around
I'm sorry that I never got to see you or anything.  I really never took the time to call you or anything.  I miss you.  I miss knowing that you're around.
Your funeral was beautiful.  They {The Rangers} did a great job.  Did you know how loved you were and still are?  You were such an amazing person.  Everybody loved you!  Your dad's friend gave an awesome speech.  So did Dan.  Dan loves you and misses you so much.  So does Mitch, Rob, Julie, Sue, Grandma, Grandpa, Gene, Chuck, John...me..I could go on forever.
I really miss you, and I think about you a lot.  Please watch over Sam, Uncle Rob, Aunt Julie, and Chere.  Thanks Randy---Love ya much..

He looks so professional!

*The Ranger Creed*

Recognizing that I volunteered as a Ranger, fully knowing the hazards of my chosen profession, I will always endeavor to uphold the prestige, honor, and high espirit de corps of the rangers.

Acknowledging the fact that a ranger is a more elite soldier who arrives at the cutting edge of battle by land, sea, or air.  I accept the fact that as a ranger my country expects me to move further, faster, and fight harder than any other soldier.

Never shall I fail my comrades.  I will always keep myself mentally alert, physically strong, and morally straight, and I will shoulder more than my share of the task whatever it may be.  One hundred percent and then some.

Energetically will I meet the enemies of my country.  I shall defeat them on the field of battle for I am better trained and will fight with all my might.  Surrender is not a ranger word.  I will never leave a fallen comrade to fall into the hands of the enemy and under no circumstances will I ever embarrass my country.

Readily will I display the intestinal fortitude required to fight on the ranger objective and compltere the mission.  Though I be the lone survivor.

RANGERS LEAD THE WAY!
